DEX/F detectors are designed to detect dangerous concentrations of gases or vapors of explosive or toxic liquids or oxygen. They signal the exceeding of two alarm thresholds (A1, A2) set in the replaceable sensor module (thresholds set at the production stage). They are designed to work only with control modules of the MD type.
The detectors meet the main requirements of Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX) of the European Parliament and the Council of February 26, 2014 on the harmonization of the laws of the member states regarding protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. , implemented by the order of the Minister of Development on requirements for equipment and protection systems intended for use in potentially explosive environments dated June 6, 2016 (Legal Gazette of 2016, No. 817).
The detectors are devices of explosion-proof construction with a flame-resistant coating and can be used in zones 1 or 2 where there is a risk of explosion of flammable gases or vapors classified as explosion group IIA, IIB or IIC, temperature classes T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 or T6.
